DFSS Caduceus Cup Results 2016
RASigs Corps Week was held in the first week of November at Borneo Barracks, Cabarlah. Once again it was the scene for the annual Caduceus Cup running race. A race that brings units together from across the Corps to compete for the Caduceus and bragging rights into 2017. The Defence Force School of Signals (DFSS) tilt for the 2016 Caduceus Cup was one of perfection. The team conducted a strong twelve week, uninterrupted training camp. Impressively, four weeks from race day, they secured victory in the Melbourne Marathon Social Teams 10km event. They were ready. Race day saw the team running plan executed faultlessly. Impressively led by Sergeant Todd Scott, the DFSS team won the Caduceus Cup by a remarkable 13 mins. No-one in living memory could recall such an impressive victory. A win that saw second place, 1 Signals Regiment, lapped by the prodigious DFSS team.
